The friendly-looking gentleman in T-shirt and sneakers is the very popular Ko Wen-je, mayor of Taipei. He was a professor at National Taiwan University College of Medicine specialising in trauma, intensive care and organ transplants before being elected with 55% of the vote. The older gentleman is Jong-Chin Shen, the Minister of Economics, and the gentleman with the big smile is the long-term friend and supporter of StarAudit and Executive Chairman of the WCIT event with 3,000 participants from 80 countries, Dr. Gary Gong. The opening show was extremely impressive, with a dancer’s movements transferred to artificial images on a screen in real time using a technology that won a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
